Autopromotec 2015: Exhibition Review

If one mentions the beautiful Bologna in the Emilia-Romagna region, the heart of car lovers begins to beat faster. The factories of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Pagani. However, the region is also home to most Italian workshop equipment manufacturers. The Autopromotec trade fair, which takes place every two years in Bologna, thus follows on directly, both thematically and regionally, and serves as a showcase for the many Italian manufacturers of workshop equipment and at the same time as an international platform for automobile service.

 

Once established specifically for tyre repair, the Autopromotec now offers more than just a presentation opportunity for the complete range of workshop equipment. Parts manufacturers, manufacturers of filling station equipment and washing technology also regularly come there to present innovations and products. The range of workshop equipment on display thus covered the entire spectrum from tools to gantry car washes. The focus was traditionally on lifting technology, tyre service machines, diagnostic equipment, air conditioning service equipment and test stands. Accordingly, well-known names and figures such as von Beissbarth, the brand Elektron, the tool manufacturer Hazet, the lifting technology specialist Herrmann from Pösing, Kärcher, Nussbaum, Würth or the lifting technology specialist Autop from Rheine were represented at Autopromotec 2015.

 

With the presentation of our flow test benches we were in the best company in Bologna and used the Autopromotec to show dealers, suppliers and companies of the automotive equipment industry the latest trends and developments in the turbocharger test bench sector. We generated attention and sustained interest not only through the high innovative power of our product line, but also through the opportunity to test our Flowbench solutions on the basis of concrete case studies.

 

The fact that Autopromotec 2015 was able to record an increase in exhibitor numbers in advance was interpreted as a clearly positive sign against the high competitive pressure from Asia. This further increases the importance of the Autopromotec.
